Connectus Business Solutions Acquires I7 Technologies Limited

Connectus Business Solutions, the fast-growing managed IT services provider with offices across the North of England, has acquired the assets of Wrexham-based IT support and cyber security provider I7 Technologies Limited.
The acquisition further strengthens Connectus’ regional footprint, which now already boasts offices in Salford , Doncaster, and Grimsby.
It will allow the business to provide stronger local support to even more organisations across North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire.
The deal marks another milestone in Connectus’ rapid growth journey. The award-winning technology business now supports more than 700 businesses and over 15,000 end users , and has achieved three consecutive years of double-digit growth, alongside completing five acquisitions in the past four years.
With the addition of I7 Technologies, Connectus will expand its engineering capability, increase recurring revenue, and enhance support coverage across North Wales Cheshire and Shropshire.

“Over the past few years we have grown our customer base, engineering capability, recurring revenue and profitable growth, while continuing to improve automation and customer care,” he said.
“This acquisition supports that direction and adds a base in Wrexham, which is an important location for serving our growing customer base across North Wales , Shropshire and the Cheshire region.”
Connectus will welcome four engineers and approximately 150 customers from I7 Technologies as part of the acquisition and will continue to be supported by previous i7 Director Steve Lewis to ensure a smooth transition.
Shelton emphasised that maintaining continuity for customers will be a key priority during the transition.
“Our focus is to ensure a controlled transition so customers continue to receive an enhanced levels of service they expect,” he said.
“At the same time, they will benefit from access to the broader Connectus engineering team, enhanced cyber security, AI and compliance expertise along with additional support resources.”
The new Wrexham Industrial estate location will also strengthen Connectus’ ability to deliver faster installations and support across parts of its rapidly expanding customer base.
